Not everyone loves their moles, and you don’t have to keep them if you do not want to! Moles are growths made up of pigment-producing skin cells. People of all ages and backgrounds get moles, and there are a variety of reasons individuals may want them removed. You may not be comfortable with the appearance of your mole(s), or there may be itchiness or irritation.
At the Institute, Dr. Seal will remove unwanted moles in a simple surgical procedure with local anesthetic with minimal scarring. Stitches/sutures typically are removed a week after the procedure.
