Bothersome fatty deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise can be found in the face, neck, abdomen, upper arm, hips, thighs and knees. Liposuction or lipoplasty is a surgical procedure that aims to slim and reshape specific areas of the body by removing excess fat deposits and improving your body contours and proportion.

It is one of the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures worldwide and while not an effective method of weight loss, it is often used to motivate patients to improve their diet and exercise habits post-operatively.

How it works.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure that uses a 2-3 small incisions to aspirate/suck out unwanted fatty deposits. This procedure can be performed alone at our private clinic under oral/local anaesthesia or along with other plastic surgery procedures in hospital under general anaesthesia.

Scars are very small and typically unremarkable.
